FLUX donates 1,500 euros to the “Kinderzentrum” (Children’s Centre) in Maulbronn

60 years FLUX, 60 years of success: reason enough to bring joy to someone else. For this reason, the staff and management of the pump specialist FLUX-GERÄTE GMBH have collected a donation to the value of 1,500 euros for the “Kinderzentrum” (Children´s Centre) in their local area of Maulbronn in Baden-Württemberg.

Clinic for Neurological and Social Paediatrics

The “Kinderzentrum”, situated above Maulbronn with its world-famous monastery complex, specialises in the treatment of children. Here they are investigated from a medical, psychological and social point of view; the young patients have access to a wide range of services. An institution, according to FLUX Managing Director, Klaus Hahn, “which with its professional competence and versatility is a real blessing for the whole region. We are very pleased that it is at home here in Maulbronn where our company is located”.

Commitment and identification

The trigger for the donation campaign was a voucher to the value of 100 euros given by the Mayor of Maulbronn, Andreas Felchle, to FLUX employees on the occasion of the company’s anniversary. The 130 employees raised the sum to 720 euros and this was finally topped up to 1,500 euros by company management. Klaus Hahn and the chairwoman of the works council, Barbara Geromüller, presented the donation to the Pastor of the “Kinderzentrum”, Sabine Leibbrand. In her speech of thanks, Mrs Leibbrand stressed how valuable local identification with this institution is.
